Chinaplas 2019

May 26, 2019

CHINAPLAS is one of the largest and most influential international exhibitions in the plastics, rubber, and packaging machinery industries.  NO.1 in Asia and NO.2 in the world.

The ABC multi-layer blown film machine and the ABA blown film machine are both types of equipment used in the plastics industry for producing plastic films. The ABC multi-layer blown film machine is designed to produce films with three layers. It consists of three extruders, each responsible for melting and extruding a different type of plastic material. These materials are then combined in a die head, where they are layered together to form a multi-layer film.

The ABC machine offers the advantage of being able to produce films with different properties in each layer, allowing for improved strength, barrier properties, or other desired characteristics. On the other hand, the ABA blown film machine is designed to produce films with two layers. It also consists of three extruders, but one of the extruders is used for both the outer layers while the other extruder is dedicated to the inner layer.

The ABA machine is commonly used for producing films with a central layer that provides desired properties, such as UV resistance or reinforcement, while the outer layers provide protection or aesthetics. Both machines utilize a similar process for producing the films. The plastic materials are first melted and extruded through a die head with an annular slit. The molten plastic forms a tube, which is then inflated by air blown into it, resulting in a bubble. The bubble gradually cools and solidifies as it is drawn upwards and flattened, forming a thin plastic film.

Overall, the ABC multi-layer blown film machine and the ABA blown film machine are effective tools for producing high-quality plastic films with different layer configurations, catering to specific requirements and applications.

        See you in Shanghai 2020.
